As a certified Austin native and animal documentary "binger" I saw the small local non-profit the Austin Zoo as an excellent opportunity for a personal rebrand project.


My Approach

Since the zoo doesn't have a cohesive brand, I wanted to bring the brand forward with simple patterns, gritty textures, vibrant energetic colors, and photos highlighting the natural and recognizable beauty of pelts, hides, and feathers in our natural world.

I also wanted to bring the logo forward with a font and texture that harkens back to the original with a simple modern twist.
